Republican Presidential candidate Marco Rubio is the winner of Saturday night’s Washington, D.C. caucuses, while rival Ted Cruz came in last.
According to national media, Rubio got 37 percent of the vote, giving the Florida Senator 10 delegates. Ohio Governor John Kasich got 36 percent and is awarded with 9 delegates. Business owner Donald Trump got 14 percent and Texas Senator Ted Cruz got 12 percent, both received zero delegates.
Cruz will most likely use this loss to his advantage as he touts that he is the most “anti-establishment.”
