MUSKOGEE, OK – Congressman Markwayne Mullin (R-OK-02) has announced the schedule for his 2016 “Town Halls for Veterans.” The two events will be held on March 24, 2016, in Sallisaw and Durant.
Mullin holds his annual “Town Halls for Veterans” to give veterans and their families the opportunity to learn more about the resources that are available to them. There is no registration required to attend the events.
Representatives from veterans service groups and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) will be present at each event to share information and answer questions. Caseworkers from Mullin’s Congressional offices will also be available to help any veteran or military family that is having problems with a federal agency.
“Oklahoma is blessed to have so many groups that are committed to serving our veterans,” said Mullin . “We are bringing as many resources as we can under one roof, so veterans and their families can easily learn about the services that they can access in their own communities.”
