NEW YORK, NY – Tuesday Donald J. Trump received the endorsement of former Vice Presidential Candidate and Governor of Alaska, Sarah Palin. Palin praised Trump’s leadership and unparalleled ability to speak the truth and produce real results.
Palin joined Trump in Ames on Tuesday, just two weeks before the Iowa Caucuses, to announce her endorsement of the GOP frontrunner.
Trump stated, “I am greatly honored to receive Sarah’s endorsement. She is a friend, and a high quality person whom I have great respect for. I am proud to have her support.”
Sarah Palin served as the Governor of Alaska before being selected as Senator John McCain’s Vice Presidential nominee in 2008. As the first ever female Vice Presidential candidate for the Republican party.
Palin has endorsed in the past our own Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin, former Oklahoma House Speaker and candidate for U.S. Senate T.W. Shannon, who lost to Senator James Lankford.

Trump campaigned in Winterset, Altoona, and Ames, IA Tuesday and will be in Norwalk, IA for an event tomorrow, before traveling to Tulsa, OK for a rally with thousands expected to attend at the Oral Roberts University Mabee Center. Palin will travel with the candidate to both events on Wednesday.
