Democrats have been trying to disarm ‘We the people’ for quite some time. Their strategy has vacillated from major anti-gun laws to incremental so called ‘common sense’ steps. They use their puppets in the media, entertainers and so on to promote their nefarious goal of complete gun confiscation. A lot has been said about the latest move on guns by the president. Most of this attention has been paid to the expanded background checks and new requirements on low volume dealers. A key portion of the anti-gun narrative that hasn’t been paid much attention to is the attack on those individuals receiving social security benefits.
I believe this facet of their attack is a trial balloon for their ultimate goal, disarming veterans diagnosed with PTSD. As a veteran who has had to deal with the setbacks of severe PTSD, I’ve become very cognitive of the meme that has been created by the media and Hollywood elite to portray people like me as mentally unstable, short fused, close minded and other negative characterizations. The left has always had an almost open disdain for those of us who serve in general. Gone are the days of leftist spitting on soldiers. This sort of activity would be rejected by the patriotic American majority. The left would like nothing more than to disarm American veterans.
They view us as a threat because they know we represent one of the last vestiges of the government still committed to protecting the constitution. We also tend to be very conservative. That’s primarily why I believe this administration has sought to water down the effectiveness of the armed forces. They’ve done this a number of ways like, promoting leaders at the brass level who tow the ideological line, and smashing those who don’t, social experiments at the unit level, and tying the hands of troops on the battlefield all in an effort to turn our armed forces inside out. It doesn’t get any better when we do come back from defending our country and we need a little help for our mental and physical disabilities, they revert to cramming drugs down our throats in order to further sedate us. Even though these things have shown little or no measurable positive results in combating these conditions, they press on. If the issue is chronic we’re thrust into an inadequate, antiquated VA system, akin to some sort of socialized nightmare totally devoid of any accountability, or recognized positive goal.
This phase of the left’s plan to further marginalize the American veteran is to somehow take away our constitutional right to bear arms. If you’re paying attention you can almost see the next move in this incremental robbing of our liberties. It’s a sick chess game controlled by a despotic executive and a feckless and at times accomplice in the Republican establishment. If I were betting man I would bet anything that the next phase of this gun grab may be to disarm veterans, particularly those receiving disability from the VA for PTSD. This is all especially alarming because I happen to fall into this category. This country is being eroded from within. The silent majority has been silent enough to this tyranny. If they think veterans are going to sit back and take this, they got another thing coming. I intend to fight because now more than ever we must.
