CHICKASHA, OK – Dr. Kevin Crow will announce his candidacy for State Senate District 23 at the Canadian County GOP meeting on June 30th at 7:00 pm.
The meeting will be held at South Yukon Church of Christ on 11700 NW 10th St in Yukon. Dr. Crow will be running for the seat currently held by Ron Justice, who will continue to serve through next summer.
Dr. Crow lives in Chickasha with his wife, Rani and two children, Sophie and Cato. He is an Associate Professor of History at USAO, where he teaches a wide array of classes ranging from The History of Ancient Greek to Ideology and Mass Culture in the Modern World. In light of his accomplishments in the classroom, he has received the Regents’ Award for Superior Teaching twice at USAO. Dr. Crow is a member of Southern Oaks Church of Christ in Chickasha.
Dr. Crow is active locally and across the state. He currently represents Grady County as a committee member of the Republicans of the Fourth District. He is also a member of the Executive Committee of the State Republican Party. In addition to his political activities, Dr. Crow is also civically active. He has given lectures for various organizations across Oklahoma and in other states, such as the 912 Project and the Sons and Daughters of Liberty. Dr. Crow also serves frequently as a guest lecturer at secondary schools, both inside and outside of the state, and often participates in educational events for elementary students in Grady County.
